PCH is equipped with several critical safety and control mechanisms, including:
- safety thermostat with manual reset and integrated positive safety features
- an electronic ignition device for the burner, along with an ionization flame detection system
- ignition and flame detection electrodes
- a condensate detection electrode located in the siphon.
